What you Need to Know.
1 Establish the exact location where you will position your Haus. Ensure that you have water, electricity and sewer connections (or conservancy tanks) added to the plot. Or do your homework on the challenges of going off the grid.
2 Then find the perfect Haus to fit your requirements. Remember to save space to add another Haus module in the future.
3 You will need to submit our document pack to your local authority for plan approval.
4 You will need to confirm that our trailer towed by a regular pick-up truck (bakkie) will be able to position your Haus on your pre-determined site. If this is not possible, your starter box can be dismantled and carried into position.
5 If you plan to place your Haus facing west you should order our solar screen package.
Do you need Finance?
When building a Haus, or buying a plot on which to build your Haus, you may be eligible for a state funded housing subsidy through the Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Programme (FLISP). This will reduce your initial loan amount from your bank and also make your monthly bond payments more affordable. Make sure to ask your bank about this.
